Café China’s menu is a celebration of Szechuan flavors, featuring an array of delectable options that cater to various dietary preferences. Whether you're a meat lover or leaning towards vegan choices, you will find joy in the range of offerings. I particularly recommend diving into their Mapo Tofu Box and Kung Pao Chicken Box, where the exhilarating heat of Szechuan peppercorns dances on your palate, complemented by the rich textures of tender tofu and succulent chicken.

The appetizers here are equally compelling. The Mouth Watering Chicken stands out with its kick and depth of flavor, making it a must-try for first-timers. Each bite tantalizes your taste buds with layers of sesame and chili oil, leaving you craving for more. If you’re feeling adventurous, don’t miss the Husband & Wife Special, a unique blend of beef tripe and tendon that showcases the boldness of Szechuan cuisine.

The crispy eel and the garlic eggplant were the stars of the show in my opinion. The pepper chicken, smoked duck, and fried rice were also very good!

Food is authentic Szechuan, but its been adjusted to suit a wider audience. Spice levels have been adjusted on certain dishes, and other items have a touch of sweetness. Still a faithful representation and certainly excellent food. Would not hesitate to visit again.
